billbassett724_ As recommended by Squirrel Empire! issue #1, March 1997 "...a styley mish-mash of catchy acoustic ditties and stangley endearing keyboard excursions... highly recommended (this tape has been in my walkman a lot recently)...don't wait to hear it on your CB radio, send away today." Favorite track: Swimming In NY.

about

After borrowing four track tape recorders from Mike and Ben (they each had a Tascam Porta07), I decided it was time to purchase my own. I can still remember the smell of the packing material as I carefully opened the box that day late in January. In addition to this new machine, my grandparents' neighbor had just given me a beautiful Martin banjo that had spent the last few decades in his closet, and these songs contain some of my first attempts at playing it. Thank you, Roger.

Remixed and remastered, 2020.
