about

Recorded mostly during the spring and summer of '98, seasons under the spell of "Endtroducing," the soundtrack to endless hands of hearts, sliding screen doors, these assembly line songs built on loops bounced from one Tascam to another, slow late night drives the long way around, cassette deck blasting "One Day It'll All Make Sense," or "Blowout Comb," or "Beats Rhymes & Life," or "Stakes Is High." And at the end of August I left for New York.
